Each participant attending should complete the form (not just each company). Completing this form provides information in advance to help the facilitator make the best use of our time.
Business Strategy Advisor Certification: For participants whose role involves advising companies (other than your own) on business-related matters, a brief online assessment may be completed following the training (at no additional cost) to earn a Business Strategy Advisor Certification. This is not applicable to most businesses. However, financial advisors, accounting and tax professionals, business consultants, etc. may qualify for this. If it applies to you and you are interested, please answer "Yes" to this question (below). If not, simply answer "No" (you will still receive a Strategy Guidemap Certificate of Completion).
Other Preparation
One of our learning activities will ask you to consider "Who are your "best" customers?" These may be customers by name (common in business-to-business (B2B) situations), or by type, meaning a persona or description of that ideal customer (common in business-to-consumer (B2C) situations). Some businesses also distinguish these according to the type of product or service purchased. Although it is not required, you may find it helpful to analyze your sales data in advance to know exactly who they are or what characteristics are most indicative of your "best" customers.
What to Expect
This is a 4-hour training with brief breaks. A participant guidebook and other necessary materials will be provided. Other businesses will be present in the training and there will be opportunities for interaction, however, you will not be expected to share any confidential information regarding your business.
